What's in the pipeline for 2022

We are coming to the end of term four, meaning Sarah and I are in the process of putting together the Be In Blossom timetable for 2022. Considerable time and effort goes into this process to accommodate as many requests as possible. The last 18 months has been a challenge to navigate the business through and I would like to sincerely thank clients and referrers for supporting us over this time. We are going to take a slightly longer break this year to recharge and be ready to hit the ground running in 2022.

Holiday Closure

: Postnatal and Women’s only Classes conclude Monday Dec 13th.
Pregnancy Classes conclude Tuesday Dec 14th
No Classes Thursday Dec 2nd (my middle daughter’s primary school graduation)
Classes return: Monday Jan 10th
Don’t forget to take advantage of the online virtual pregnancy and postnatal and advanced pilates or circuit classes over the break. From November 29th my eldest daughter is finished the school year so will be attending a few classes with me in our final weeks of 2021 to assist with the older children. Keep an eye out on our social media accounts for classes that she will be available to assist.

I will likely be working Wednesdays at North West Hospital maternity unit so in order to maintain a work/family life balance we have removed a couple of classes at the Chermside venue but created some fantastic options at the Keperra studio. Check them out!

Introducing Private and Semi-Private Reformer classes

at Keperra Studio
I have just received delivery of a beautiful reformer for my home studio in Keperra and have been working on creating a versatile, positive space to offer individual and small group (up to 3 people) sessions and postnatal assessments. I am so excited to be able to offer more variety in exercise choices and another location to service clients. I have allocated space in the weekly timetable for private and semi-private equipment lessons including the reformer. These spaces will be open to Pregnant, Postnatal and beyond clients including rehabilitation post-gynaecological surgery. I can’t wait to get creative with the reformer repertoire with innovative and individualised programming.
If you would like to register your interest in these sessions please send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Should the allocated times not suit let me know your preferences and I’ll see what I can do. The private and semi-private sessions are not currently appearing on the booking system. I want to gauge interest before loading them. Costs are as follows:

Private 45min session: $80
Two person 45 min sessions: $70
Three person 45min sessions: $60
These sessions can be claimed as Individual or Group Consultations rather than Class consults and provide greater rebates through private health.

In order to open these spaces I have made the decision to remove the 1pm Monday postnatal class and the Friday 11am pregnancy class from the weekly timetable as these are usually our two quietest classes at Chermside. Our pregnant clients wishing to attend a class during the day can attend on of the Keperra Studio sessions.

More Opportunities for beyond postnatal clients

We have opened our Thursday 7:30pm and Friday 9am classes up to women beyond the “baby” phase. Historically both of these classes are attended by many ladies who have toddlers or school aged children so we are simply making it more official to be welcoming to ladies out of that stage. These classes are called Core & Conditioning OPEN classes. They remain open to our postnatal Mums as well. The content will be the same as the other Mummy Core & Conditioning classes with beginner, intermediate and advanced options plus individual modifications where required. These classes are more a Pilates style class and do not include cardio. Currently these classes appear in the booking system as Mummy Core & Conditioning but can be booked by our OPEN clients too.

Core & Conditioning for Women (beyond postnatal)
New Name

Core, Conditioning & Cardio for Women (beyond postnatal) formerly known as Core & Conditioning for Women (beyond postnatal)

Our terms will now run as a 9 week block rather than 8 weeks for all Core, Conditioning & Cardio for women (beyond postnatal) courses. Participants will have the opportunity to do a makeup class at their usual time at the end of the course, in one of the other course times or in a Core & Conditioning OPEN class on Thursday 7:30pm or Friday 9am. We feel this provides opportunity for makeups. From a financial point of view running two makeup classes per course was too costly when there is room hire and instructor fees and we do not want to increase class costs. To reflect the difference between the courses and the Core & Conditioning OPEN classes the courses have been renamed Core, Conditioning & Cardio (beyond postnatal).

Bootcamp / Readiness to Run Postnatal Workshops now offered on both Monday and Fridays

You asked and we listened! Our Bootcamp Workshops will be offered twice per term. The first 5 week program will run on Mondays at 11am and the second 5 week program will run Fridays at 11am. To accommodate this change the Move Mummy Move / Pregnancy Circuit class will move forward to 10am on Mondays.

Early Postnatal Screening Clinic

Our screening clinic individual assessment day will remain the last Thursday of the month. Charity Work

As many of you are aware outside of my business time I am part of a collective group of passionate women called the Hills Women’s Collective. We share a desire and commitment to supporting the needs of vulnerable women and families in our community who are affected by domestic violence. Our primary fundraiser is Sweat Like A Girl, an exercise marathon involving 10 fitness businesses coupled with markets supporting small business with products appealing to our target audience of women aged 12 years and over. Last year we raised almost $10000 for RizeUp. On Sat, March 26th next year we are building on the success of our first event and have a fundraising goal of $15000 for our chosen charity, DVConnect. You can check out our event HERE. Ticket sales for the exercise marathon go on sale mid Jan. We are currently looking to expand our stall holders so if you know of someone or you have a small business that you feel would appeal to our target audience or event please email This email address is being protected from spambots.
