Internal pelvic floor examinations are currently not available, however if you wish to have a pelvic floor assessment you are welcome to make an appointment to see our Physiotherapist, Briony O’Connor at Ramsay Health Plus. Ramsay Health is conveniently located within the North West Private Hospital, Flockton Street, Everton Park. Free parking is available.

Postnatal Pilates Matwork
No matter how fit or strong you are leading into your pregnancy, it takes time to rebuild the abdominal wall and pelvic floor support. There is no blanket rule for readiness to return to different exercise types such as sit-ups, lifting weights or running.

Postnatal Conditioning & Cardio
Step back into fitness following your bub’s birth without placing undue strain on your pelvic floor. It is desirable though not essential that you complete the Mummy Core Restore & Baby Massage Introductory Course or comparable before joining Postnatal Conditioning & Cardio so that you have developed your skills in coordinating your breathing with deep abdominals and pelvic floor.
